Losing Weight and Loving It

Many things can contribute to adding a few pounds!
In my case, health problems, medications and
less exercise was the culprit.

I have never dieted but from time to time made
a more conscious effort to eat more healthy
and exercise more.

A friend began losing weight and feeling great
so I became more interested in how she
was accomplishing this and wanted to try her system.

On February 28, 2012 I began eating more balanced
with keeping proteins and carbs in balance along
with drinking more fluids and water and
having snacks in between meals.

This system is called Diet Free for Life based
on the book and Food Lover's Weight Loss System
by Robert Ferguson, MS, CN.

I began seeing a huge difference in my weight.
In about 5 weeks I have lost 15 1/2 pounds
and several inches from my waist
and I've never ate so much in my life!

Eating balanced is really the key and it really
does work!  I just wanted to share this with
others who may have picked up a few extra
pounds and would like to get the book
and see if it's right for you
and acceptable with your Doctor.

Best Wishes for Healthy Eating
& Happy Living!

Still Here

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still here.
I've needed more rest lately as I await surgery.
I'm looking forward to feeling better and posting more.

With the energy I've had, I invested it in a Ladies Day at our Church,
which was absolutely wonderful!  God blessed with every detail and
we all left feeling refreshed and ready for ministry.

Thank you for your patience and I plan to post a
few things before surgery in a few weeks!

Many Blessings!

Goodbye Cricut!!!

Many of you may remember that I recently had to send my
Cricut Expression back to Provo Craft with a bad LCD screen.

Provo Craft was wonderful and the replacement machine
came, but unfortunately it isn't working properly.

When cutting it doesn't line up correctly or cut all the way through,
so it's shipping out tomorrow!

Once again, Provo Craft was super nice and asked me to
choose any cartridge I wanted and they
would send it to me for my trouble!

Thank you Provo Craft for good customer service
and for my "Country Life" cartridge that's on its way...
and my new Cricut Expression!

I'll be crafting Cricutless for a little while longer!

New Blog on the Corner

Mud Pie Reality is a blog about real life.  It's about the days you are grocery shopping, in the rain, and step in the biggest water puddle on the way to the car and have to rush home, unload groceries, cook supper and manage to wear a smile until bedtime.

Thankfully, the sun eventually comes out and dries the water and mud and warms our tired bodies, reminding us that amongst the dirt & mud of life, comes some sunshine, hope and strength for another day.

So, if you've ever had one of those days and need some encouragement to lean on the brighter side, finding some peace, humor and sanity along the way....then this is the blog for you.  Follow Mud Pie Reality to add a little spark of sunshine on the rainy days.
